i explore space through the lens of domesticity — not as fixed architecture, but as something inhabited and continually formed through movement, presence, and everyday experience. within my work, surfaces become sites through which space and light are constructed rather than represented, allowing painting to emerge as a lived experience.

rather than understanding the body as singular or contained, i extend it into architecture, objects, and material relationships, where boundaries between body and space become increasingly porous. i explore the ways domestic environments carry presence, absorb time, and become shaped through occupancy. in this sense, the house itself becomes a body: something that holds memory, records encounter, and reflects lived experience.

through the act of painting, i use colour, line, and form to explore how forms emerge, shift, and exist within space. my work invites viewers to spend time with the surface and atmosphere of the painting, allowing relationships, sensations, and meanings to emerge gradually through observation.
